1. A view showing the demolition of a bridge and part of the existing culvert for the River Trent and Fowlea Brook at Whieldon Road. The work is necessary to enable the completion of the tie-in of the new open channel that runs adjacent to Maclagan Street.                                



2. A view looking south of the recently constructed channel for the River Trent and Fowlea Brook adjacent to Maclagan street. The ledge on the left (eastern) wall will form an otter ledge on completion.



3. The construction of a new culvert for the River Trent and Fowlea Brook south of City Road junction. This new section of culvert will divert the rivers under the realigned A500 to tie-in with the open channel adjacent to Maclagan Street.



4. A view looking north of the temporary City Road junction showing traffic on the recently constructed over bridge for the future A500 underpass. The work being undertaken beneath the bridge is the construction of an open channel for the River Trent and Fowlea brook that will run adjacent to the southbound carriageway.



5. The construction of an open channel for Fowlea Brook north of City Road junction. This section ties-in with a previously constructed section of culvert that links into the existing Fowlea Brook culvert at Brook Street.
