1. The new channel for the River Trent and Fowlea Brook running adjacent to
Cornwallis Street. Work to install an environmental barrier on the eastern channel
wall is progressing.
2. This photograph was taken at the point where the new channel joins the existing
channel that runs adjacent to Victoria Park. The old Whieldon Road Bridge has
been partially demolished and will be replaced with a footbridge.
3. A section of the new channel south of City Road that will run next to the
A500 mainline on completion. The recently completed Woodhouse Street culvert
links this section with the channel running adjacent to Cornwallis Street.
