Whieldon Rd

Whieldon Road Junction will be substantially changed. A new exit slip road will be provided for Northbound traffic to gain access to City Road Junction [via local link road] and to the Victoria Ground redevelopment site. The existing River Trent culvert shown above will become redundant once the river is diverted into the new channel alongside Cornwallis Street.

The existing Northbound entry slip road bridge will be modified and reduced in width for future use as a footbridge. The future entry slip road will be constructed where the structure above is sited.
