Shelton new Road to Stoke Road

The existing road layout comprising two lanes in each direction connected to the at-grade roundabout junction will be replaced with two straight through lanes in each direction for through traffic and two lanes in each direction for local road users, with links onto the A500 between the existing junctions.

This will enable through traffic to avoid delays caused by the current road layout and will allow local road users to use a local road network partially separated from the trunk road. Journey times should improve significantly.
